The Ultra Race of Champions, The Championship event for the sport of ultra distance running.  Open to everyone.  Registration opens on January 15th, 2013

• Awards: $20,000 Cash Purse for the Ultra Race of Champions 100K
  • Champions Male/Female:    $5000.00
  • Runner Up Male/Female:    $2000.00
  • Third Place Male/Female:    $1500.00
  • Fourth Place Male/Female:  $1000.00
  • Fifth Place Male/Female:     $500.00
    • Sub 17 Hour Finishers will receive the Trail Runner Ultra Race of Champions "UROC" Belt Buckle. All finishers will receive the UROC medallion.
    
    
• Elite Athletes: The Ultra Race of Champions "UROC" will provide additional incentives to encourage the best Ultra Runners in the World to compete.
• Registration: Registration is open!.  NOTE: The Ultra Race of Champions is open to ALL runners.
• UROC 100K Course:
  • Out and back course consist of single track trails (featuring the DRAGON'S BACK TRAIL), scenic mountain gravel roads and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway
  • Elevation Gain:  12,948
  • 19 hour time limit
